Eragon

"I have waited a thousand years to hear your thoughts and you can hear mine." "I am Saphira, and you are my rider" is a quote from Eragon. It is an excellent movie because it is filled with action and adventure and holds you in the story until the very end. It also creates a deep feeling for the characters.

The movie is about an evil king and his sorcerer apprentice who take over the land and kill the dragon riders (a person who a dragon has chosen to ride him or her), guardians of the land. All who oppose the king hide in the mountains and hope that a miracle will happen. Meanwhile a dragon egg falls into the hand of a farm boy named Eragon. The egg hatches and the dragon chooses Eragon as her rider. The dragon’s name is Saphira, and although she starts out small she flies away and comes back as an enormous adult dragon. She and Eragon try to get to the mountains. If they make it there alive, they can team up with the rebellion and may have a small chance to defeat the King, his evil Apprentice and his army.

This is an awesome movie and is appropriate to anyone 8 up. I highly recommend this edge of your seat movie of kings, sorcerers, and dragons to anyone who wants a little action and adventure.
