“It’s so fluffy!” Have you ever wanted to watch a comedy about an evil scientist and yellow pill shaped minions? Despicable Me is for you. While trying to become the biggest evil villain of all time, an evil scientist named Gru and his minions plan to steal the moon by shrinking it. That is a problem because his enemy Vector has stolen his shrink ray and Gru has to steal it back. If you want to see how Gru gets it back you have to watch the movie. I would give it a ten out of ten. My favorite part is when they go to the fair and the youngest child cannot get the big fluffy unicorn stuffed animal at one of the games so Gru takes his disintegrator ray, and blows up the game and gets her the unicorn.
The movie may have been funny at times but it was also compassionate. Gru adopted three girls just to help him steal the moon and he didn’t think he would ever learn to love them but when the orphanage came to take them back he didn’t want them to go, but they had to. When the youngest child had a dance recital she wanted Gru to go, he had originally said no but he had loved the kids so much he went to the recital and readopted them and never took them back. It overall was a great movie.
The reason I would give it a ten out of ten is because I really like to laugh and there are some parts like when Gru makes a no gravity potion and lets his minion try it, and the minion goes flying out the window toward space. Steve Carrell plays the voices of Gru and his enemy Vector which I thought was pretty funny because they sound nothing alike. So if you like movies with evil villains, and yellow Minions, Despicable Me is the movie for you.
