The Blind Side

The Blind Side

What would you do if you saw a homeless child that had no place to go in the freezing cold? Would you help him? Or just leave him to freeze for the rest of the night? Well Sandra Bullock didn’t. Michael, a high schooler was walking in the freezing cold with no place to go, she let him stay for a day, but what will happen if she kicks him out? Will he live? Will he find a place to stay? What will happen to Michael in the end? Will it be a happy ending or a sad ending? Well, this movie based on a true story will show the willingness and caring heart that Michael had and how it will help him in the end.
In the Blind Side, Michael O’her was a child that needed a lot of help, from living at home to grades in school. Michael got into a private school because of his amazing athletic skills but wouldn’t be able to make it to college or even through high school even with his athletic skills. Sandra Bullock saw that he needed help, had no place to live, and nothing to eat. She gave him shelter, food, and clothes, but will she help him with anything else?
I think this is a great movie because Michael was a child that got the help he needed from a very grateful woman. She didn’t have to give him a bed to sleep in, or food to eat, and she could have kicked him out after the first day he stayed there. But she didn’t because she knew he had no place to go and he probably would not make it, even if she did kick him out. Michael was a very humble child. When Michael crashed he didn’t have to stop the air bag from hitting the little boy,S.J., but he did and messed his arm up so the little boy didn’t have a chance of dying. I think this was a great movie and many people should watch it.
