Dear John

In the movie Dear John when John went back into the army the way Juliet remembered him was when it was a full moon. She would close one eye and hold her thumb up to the moon. John had told her when you do that the moon will never be bigger than your thumb.
Also this movie was a great love story because of how it changed both lives of John and Juliet. But how their relationship started was when Juliet was on the dock and set her purse on the edge and then one of her friends knocked it off the dock and John was on the other side of the dock and jumped off the dock into the ocean and got it for her and that’s when they first saw each other for the first time.
Also in the movie they never said goodbye they always said see you then. In the movie while John has been away at war she has moved on and when John came back they ate dinner together and she told him that he had been gone for a long time and she had moved on. So when he left she said see you then and he couldn’t say it back for what she had done to him. That’s why I think Dear John is a good love story because of a great relationship that was destroyed by a big mistake.
